John and Ruthie were early homesteaders on Glade Park. They went back to Kentucky in about 1945.

JC, My grandmother Mary Margaret Miracle Thompson Lewis never did get to go back to Kentucky either. I live here in Grand Junction, CO where your grandparents are buried.

John McH Ruthie Miracle were my Grandparents and my mother's parents. "Rossie Catherene Miracle Barnett.

They did not return to Kentucky. They both died in Grand Junction Colorado. Mom died 22 June 1980 and had not seen her parents since she and dad moved back to Kentucky sometime in the late 1920's or early 1930's. This is something that has bothered me for years. But we cannot change the past.
