Old Lodge at Enoch's Lake

Old Lodge at Enoch's Lake

Enoch's Lake was a getaway from the summer heat of the Grand Valley since the days of my grandparents. Then, they traveled via a buckboard to get to the lodge. No trace of it remains. The picture, take in the mid fifties, shows the two story building with its porch that faced the lake.

More Memories NEW
by: Joe G

Fond memories of summer visits to Enochs Lake with my parents sharing picnic with the Beards.

Good swim out to the big rock, but the water was on the cold side.

Thanks so much for sharing this historic picture of the Enoch Lake Lodge. This is the only picture I have seen of it. Maybe we can work with it to see the lodge even better. Sadly the lodge burned. I have the year somewhere, but cannot remember exactly when it was. Does anyone know?
